OMG, simply paradise. The location is amazing. We booked the bungalow at the beach and I couldn’t be any happier. It was everything I had hoped for and more. The staff is fantastic! So friendly, so helpful. We received a complimentary massage and it was bliss! If you want rest and relaxation in an idyllic setting with palm trees and a beautiful beach with white sands and people who will make your stay an unforgettable one, then book this place! The WiFi is fast, the shower warm, the service amazing, and the location is PARADISE! Thank you guys for making our short stay a memorable one! What a great way to end this bucket list trip! Located in Jambiani, less than 1 km from Jambiani Beach, Zen Boutique Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. The staff at Zen was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay there. The greenery was very well arranged, and the photos came out great. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere perfect for families and couples. As clean as new. The owners are also there and making sure every guest is satisfied with the service. Perfect stay and would recommend to anyone I know who will go to Zanzibar.

Facing the beachfront, Mambo Paradise offers 4-star accommodation in Matemwe and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and garden. Location: it may be different for everyone. It is located in a small fishing village. Step outside Mambo paradise you will immediately find yourself in the middle of the locals and their lives. It is the true Zanzibar. Staffs: very friendly and helpful. Katja, the captain of the hotel, is a star. She arranged everything we requested, big or small and reacted swiftly to any situation (a late taxi, air conditioning issue, etc). Facilities and convenience: we have everything we expected for the region (Africa) and the price we paid. I like the fact that how the hotel is structured: a few steps up from the rooms you reached the beautiful restaurant/lounge/roof top balcony, with nice breeze throughout the day and a heavenly view of the sea; coming out the of room within a few meters you will come out to the pool, then the back door directly to the beach. Water refill on both floors. Activities: with Katja’s magical power, we have experienced amazing Zanzibar-only activities, and everyone of them went so well because of her tips and the guides she arranged.

Located in Pongwe, a few steps from Pongwe Beach, Karibu Beach Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We stayed at the hotel for a week. Very beautiful little hotel. Newly renovated. Spotless clean. Nice and quiet. Staff very attentative and kind. Delicious breakfast. Great cocktails. We got free upgrade the two last days.

It's a cozy little spot, well-planned, sitting right on the beach, and there's this seamless connection between the villas and the beach that feels just right. You can tell that the owners really considered every little thing here. The food is so carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, on-point, and super quick to help out. Honestly, it's just the ideal place to be.

The One Resort Zanzibar has a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and garden in Makunduchi. This 4-star hotel offers a private beach area, a concierge service and free WiFi. the views were breathtaking, the room was beautiful and the meals were delicious. The pool is something else, too bad it rained all day and we couldn’t spend as much time in it.

Facing the beachfront, Imara Beach Resort offers 4-star accommodation in Kiwengwa and has a garden, restaurant and bar. Insta Beach Resort is located extraordinary. Away from hectic tourist spots it is like a small oasis to relax! But yet there are a few restaurants directly next to the hotel to enjoy the local food too. Breakfast was so delicious and the staff at the restaurant and bar was so helpful and nice. We enjoyed our honeymoon a lot and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

ARYA Boutique Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Kiwengwa. Laura and the staff are extremely friendly, we’ve been pampered soo much during our stay. Cozy little resort full of flowers and plants, quiet place. We would like to thank Laura for taking care of us even tho she wasn’t there during our stay. The food is yummy, it’s freshly prepared every day. Clean villas with hot and cold water. 10/10
